Windows LiveID Problem

So recently I got a new PC of which runs Vista Premium.
Everything was fine and dandy until I tried to log into MSN Live and it just wouldn't let me.
So I tried looking at Live.com for some answers only to find out Live.com doesn't work for me either.. Nor does any of it's sub domains. Random sites that I want to view wont work either.
Not even bloody Microsoft.com works..

Now I'm thinking Vista might have some security settings set by default that wont let me view these sites or somethings conflicting with Vista and my net connection as these sites worked perfectly on my old PC (which had XP Home Edition) or just something completely different..
I don't have a clue what's wrong..
But the thing is I can view these sites via proxy sites like atunnel.com, proxify.com etc etc.
Zuh?!

Now I noticed that these sites revolve around a Windows LiveID..
I have my Hotmail account (Hotmail.com also doesn't load) and that works fine as I've checked on other PC's AND on Xbox Live but when I try on my PC it doesn't want to cooperate. Story of my life when it comes to technology really.
I've tried getting a new LiveID by proxying Live.com and trying to create a new ID, hoping that the new ID would solve my problems, but no dice. Couldn't create it.

So does anyone understand me/have any knowledge that could help me out?
Anything would be greatly appreciated!

By the way it's the same result with Firefox 2.0.0.9 and Explorer 7.

I'm not entirely sure what Vista has to do with it, although maybe you had some obscure password that you used and saved in your cookies and forgot about it.

So are you unable to go to the sites themselves, or just not log on? Sorta of confused as to what the problem is (I think it's mainly just accessing the website, right?)

But yeah i'm running Vista Ultimate and have had no problems with going to a website.

What exactly is the error message you're getting?

Well, it's not Vista directly.. I don't think..
When I had my old PC with XP on it, these sites worked perfectly. Now I've got a new PC with Vista pre-installed so it could be Vista or something with the new PC..
I'm really stumped with this.

But sadly no obscure password :/.
I wish it were to do with logging in, that'd be solved in a few seconds but this is just accessing the website itself..
And even worse I get no error message.. it just doesn't load. I'll leave it for 10 minutes or so and it will time out.
