Halo combat evolved Pc reseting mods .
hopefully you've made backup of your original maps folder, because otherwise you're going to need to re-install halo to get the original map files back.
a good practice is to have a backup of the original maps, and a mods folder for moded maps, then all you have to do is copy whatever map you want, whether it be the default or a mod, to your maps folder.
also, if you don't have the original backups, there is a way to get them off the cd without installing. haven't done it myself, but i believe it goes long thelines of right-clicking the drive, selecting "explore", then a certain archive file has the maps in it. not sure of the process after that though.

i'm not positive if you can use HMT to put the modded map back to normal because you may not know everything that was changed, or their original values. and seeing how i haven't used HMT for years, i'm not sure what the revert button does, although trying it out shouldn't hurt.
really, putting your maps back to normal would be easiest by putting the modded maps in a "mods" folder, then putting the original backup maps in the "maps" folder.
