Bad Halo Graphics =(

On my computer halo looks like this. The armor,vehicles and weapon doesnt have the shiny layer. The helmet has a black screen instead of gold.
On my friend's computer halo looks like this. Much better than mine. Very shiny. Plasma shot graphic

Yeah, a 64mb one just won't cut it in Halo, you'll need at least a 128 to get the full graphics.

also, that doesn't look like it's a seperate card, but an intergrated chip, which would tax your CPU and RAM more than a standalone card would.

It runs on AGP. It's dedicated, just slow and not up-to-date for gaming.

lmao. i would kill for those atm!!! At least colour doesn't mess with skill. But dang. grey halo armor. In a small map like hang em high or sidewinder makes it so hard to see.

OVERCLOCK YOUR CPU BABY! I got an Athlon XP2000+ and I OC'd it to 1.56ghz! Just clean out your heatsink then do it
Increase your FSB speed slowly by ones.
PS: If you only got like...what..$60 then get a AGP XFX Nvidia 6200, on your computer. If you OC it, it will run halo maxed out at 640x480 with very little problems. If you put it at 800x600 maxed out then your pushing it into the 30-40 fps. If you want more, just get an ATI X1000 series video card.

If he's wondering why his graphics are bad, he probably shouldn't be playing with overclocking.

it's not a card, it's a chip integrated into the motherboard.
also, do not try overclocking unless you know exactly what you're doing, seeing as how you can easily fry your hardware. also, you don't necessarily need an x1k card to run halo, my x800's fine, but buying a newer card will buy you more time with it.
