HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i'm looking to upgrade soon, but need to know what sort of drive to buy. i already know it's IDE ATA, but i don't know if it's ATA/100 or ATA/133, or whether it really matters.

anyways, if you know of a way to look inside my pc and find out, tell me. otherwise, maybe it's on the internet somewhere (my pc is an emachines T6212)

also, any opinions on drive manufacturer, size, etc? (looking to spend ~40 bucks or less)

If you bought your computer within the past 4 years, it shouldn't make a difference.
