see if there's any updates for itunes you need or a newer version you can upgrade to.

also, give us more info, like when the crash happens, etc.

Weird.. 'cause i got the exact same error too, seemingly around the same timeframe.

..and re-installation does not work

I re-installed iTunes and miraculously it fixed the problem, so it should work...
