[PC] Boosting, not the "pushing" effect

Post by EchoRanger449 »

I know how to modify the damage "weapon trigger" to create a jet pack like motion that launches the player in the opposite direction of fire. I would like to know how to create the reverse effect. I'm trying to create a better "sword".

well you could try to use the same method im using to make a proper jet pack that will always push you up. In the effect tag there is a reflexive that has force data. All you have to do is get the effect attached to the swords melee and set the marker so it forces you forward.

Yes, but what method do I need to do to get it to push me the opposite direction? (forward)
