My Computer keeps turning off by itself like all the time, I tried a System Restore and it still does it.
When it does start, a little screen comes up saying your system recovered from a serious error, it says that everytime, then after a bit it just turns off out of nowhere.
Any ideas?

I don't know about the serious error message, but my guesses:
A) The most obvious solution, run a virus scan.
B) Something is overheating...is your system old or poorly ventilated?

I try to renew my McAfee Virus Scan Software but my comp freezes or just restarts. I'm at a friends right now trying to find Virus scanning software, what is a good one to get??
Also, I had the cover off for a long time and it got dusy, and I just cleaned it out and put the cover back over it so the fan on the cover will work and circulate again.

adaware is awesome.

Also, I have a free trial to windows live onecare. It has a tune-up feature that deletes unnecessary files, defrags the hdd, scans for virus etc, and looks for updates to your computer. All in one sitting.
