[PC] Shoot flames from a ghost

Post by EchoRanger449 »

I know how to swap the projectile dependency for the ghost, but I don't know how to transfer the flame cloud that goes with it.

Here is my hypothesis:
The flame cloud isn't part of the flame projectile; it's part of the flamethrower itself.

I wanted to swap depencies in the ghost so that it could match the flamethrower, but the depencies options aren't the same number, and not the same category.

So instead, I wanted to make the flamethrower itself replace the ghost gun...

I tried this by nulling the models and changing the weapon user ability.
It didn't give me an exception error, but it still won't fire. Help?

i'm guessing you just want a flame ghost, and my approach would be to replace the ghost projectile's meta with the flame projectile's meta in the [proj] projectiles section. not sure if that would be right though.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

nope; it will just let it shoot the flame projectile, but you won't see the flame cloud.
