Jmad Question

How can I get Chief to have an animation like the pilots' animation when he gets into a pelican driver seat?

I don't think you can just give him a new animation. To be honest though, that looks an awful lot like a ghost animation for the mc. So if you were to make the driving seat of the pelican the "ghost_d" then it would look almost identical.

I think you're right. But I was looking through the jmads and there is a specific 'Animation Call' for that position, and I'm wondering if there's anyway to make that one onto the Chief's. I'll have to ask turk about it I guess.

EDIT: I tried the ghost_d, and the hands are just BARELY off >_<
EDIT2: And his feet go into parts of the pelican. I'd like to try and get it as exact as possible.

Take a look at my "custom" jmad tut. It explains how to move limbs on a vehicle. You could use that to move the hands back onto the handle things and add a few chunks for the feet.

Is there a way I could just add the animation call pelican_d to the Chief's? That seems like it would be alot easier than editing the existing one on the ghost.
