help with ISObuster

whenever i put in a DVD it doesnt show up in ISObuster. it only says No Media Present. what should i do or what am i doin wrong?
make sure the media you are trying to read from is compatible with the drive you are using. for example, i'm not sure if a dvd-r would work in a dvd+r drive. (haven't tried though). other than that, if the program is installed correctly, it should be able to just do it.
maybe if you tell us what you're trying to do we could help better.
