[PC] What program do I use to edit Halo .wav sounds?

The title says it all. Also, Halo .wavs and wav files are different.

i thought halo's sounds were in ogg format?

anyways, i'm sure there's an ogg -> whatever converter that's easily found on google, and the same goes for a sound editor.

ogg is for background, usually scenery, looping sounds

Really? Wow, you might as well have not commented at all.
I would have appreciated it if you actually provided the links.
Anyway, it's Audacity, not audicity. Since "switch" is a very common word and would be very hard to find if you didn't know how to search effectively, for the benefit of everyone else here, I'll give the links.

Last time I was able to edit the .wav sounds, it was with an older version of Microsoft Windows: either 2000 or 98. That may be the problem.
