Xbox live booting

I have a Xbox live gold account 3 month on my xbox 360 and im hooked up using qwest dsl threw a linksys router. So I have been playing halo 2 for the past couple weeks and on live and for no reason im getting booted from games. It makes no sense to me at all. Has this happened to anybody else and do they no how to fix it. Thank you for any help.

Are you playing Unranked Games?
Because if you are the Party Leader can Boot you from the Game, lol

Also make sure your stats are played out right, I once shot 4000 rounds in one game (I was trying to see how many I could shoot) without a single kill, and Halo booted me form the game.
