Ok i have QWEST high speed internet (DSL) problems Since ive got dsl back in july of 06 ive had problems. When people call me or I want to call out I can hear my modem and a TON of static, and I get kick of the internet and this is a real pain in the A** when im on live. So I was wondering if anybody had this same problem and if they could help me out. At the moment im using a static IP and a linksys router. Ive tried using the filter qwest gave me but when I use them on the phones the modem wont connect at all. So im forced to take them off. My house is 25 years old give or take a few years. So if anybody knows anything or works for qwest and can help me that would be great. O and yes I have called qwest and I have googled this.

what's this about a modem? are you using a modem to connect to the internet as well as DSL?
