Now I'm downloading the killtrocity map pack as we speak and I have a few questions about the map pack.

If I install the map pack, will it replace my regular Halo 2 maps?

Can I still play on the old maps?

Can I Still use xLinkKai or XBconnect with the mod if people aren't playing Killtrocity?

no, it wouldn't replace your other, but you might not have enough room.
Look into burning an ISO instead.
No, no one not using KTMP will be able to play
old maps will not be on KTMP, so no, not there at least.
