Action Replay for the Xbox 360?

Post by JK-47 »

I was wondering if I could just buy action replay for the normal xbox and use it for the 360, or if I have to buy a certain type for the 360?

(No, I don't want to mod my 360. I'd never do that to my babie)

Nope. You have to buy a whole different beast for the 360. There are currently 2 things for backing up saves to your PC. The $149 4GB Xbox 360 HD (ridicules) and the $50 XSATA.

That's pretty expensive.

Thanks for the reply, though :)

If it helps with your decision, I have an Xsata, and it's amazing. It's like having a softmodded Legacy Xbox, in the sense that you can get anything off your harddrive, or put anything on it. It's definitely worth the price. But, if your 360 isn't within about 2-3 feet from your comp, you can't really hook it up. But, Bestbuy now sells an item called Xport360 and all you do is hook your hdd up to that, and hook that up to your comp. Xport360 is only $40 too, but you don't get the sexy blue LEDs on top of your 360 like you do with an Xsata.

Wow, that 4GB flash drive is outrageous. All you need is a USB flash drive, a 4GB one will run you $40 - $50 tops on Newegg (and they're way smaller than that thing). The XSATA might be a good investment too.

You serious? How much memory is required to do this? Because I have a 1 gig flash drive.

Or could I perhaps put the files on my 20 gig iPod and hook it up into my 360?

If you're trying to run old saves from your old xbox off of a flash drive you wont be able too. You can only use them for media and other related items.
