I tried microsoft.com but they don't have a download link... wtf?
Don't tell me to use Zune to connect to my xbox because I tried Zune software and it's freaking retarded.

They no longer have Windows Media Connect. The easiest was is to stream through Windows Media Player 11.
Here's a guide.
Good luck.

if they no longer offer a download, why not ask someone for the installer? for example, lavalys doesn't offer everest for download anymore, but i have a working installer i can send to people that want it. anyways, see if you're friends have the installer lyin' around anywhere.

Could just use a jumpdrive if you want to play/view media. Media center is such a hassle sometimes.

Well the problem is now, that when I plug my computer and xbox via ethernet with a cable that came with the 360, the computer doesn't find the xbox, or the xbox doesn't find the computer, I dunno.

If you're trying to plug your xbox directly to your computer, you'll need an RJ-46 cable, standard ethernet cables are RJ-45. You could run both through a router with standard ethernet cables though.

Hmm, that's wierd because my friend could just plug his in with the standard 360 cable

He has better luck with these things than me ;_;
Meh, I don't want to spend money on another cable, I've boughten so many cables for so many things its rediculous lol.

My suggestion is to just use a jumpdrive. It's so much easier and you can get a decent sized drive pretty cheap today.

You problem sounds like it has to do with your firewall. Make sure its not being gay.
