Easy way to get ur Map files back without re-install

i thought i might say this agin hope it helps u

ok if u ever need a backup of a map or something and u dont want to reinstall heres what ya do..

1. go to My Computer

2. make sure your halo cd is in your disk drive

3. right-click on your disk drive and click open

4. there are a few folders find the folder called Filescab and open it

5. now there are 6 zip files Cab1,Cab2, etc, etc

6. each of these cab files contains a few map files

7. open winzip and which ever file u tryed to mod or need a back-up of just extract the .map file where u want to put it, and when u zip it the file u zipped will just be a copy so you dont have to worry about it deleting it off ur cd or anything like that

but u can also do this.

1. once u install halo
2.goto mycomputer-C:\-Program Files-Microsoft Games-Halo-maps
3.copy them and paste into a diff. location..
4. that also helps

if u dont have the umm CD.. lol
