im having trouble pickin out a video card to play halo. i only have one computer and i downloaded the halo demo and it wouldnt play ......i was just wondering if someone could give me a suggestion for a good inexpensive video card to play and some other games thanks

HEY... GEt A NVIDA 3800
I got mine for $110 on the internet
Thats very cheap
wont find a good one cheaped

Get some kind of nVidia card. I see alot of problems with ATI's (plus I love nVidia's....)
Just make sure it's at least 80$

ya, nvidia is good, but the 80 dollar part isnt needed, i have a very good vid card that does nearly everything as good as some of the best for only 74 dollars

same here, i have and nvidia 5200 256mb 8x agp - lol, it kick ass i can have full settings on halo except for res which is set a 800x600 + it only costs $88

i went to a computer store and they had shitty vid cards for like 200$
and no nvidias

p.s. I'm getting ATI Radeon 9600 128mb vid card tommorrow....then again, they're not "inexepensive"

lol i have tried looking for one the only one i could find that was pretty good was a 9200 ati then again i have no clue at computers.....lol..a piece of toast could produce better graphics than my video...could that work ? toast as a video card..lol jk maybe ......................9200 yes or no?

ATI 9600 drivers are so bad, but other then that they run stuff prettily. I got mine for $90, now my moniter sucks...
