Water In Burial Mounds

Its pretty much impossible right? I've tried several different methods and it refuses to work. My last line of defense was to make a large model and give it the shader of the water, except... The model/anything with that shader on it does not show up.
And suggestions?
EDIT: I put the water shader on the bark of one of my trees (new mod) and when I spawned there was no map, and only a far away section of space with a halo ring around it....I couldnt move or shoot...

well of course it didnt work.you need to read the tutorial found in the tutorial boards. It's calle 'how to have water in bsps's without water'

One night I was talking to DeToX on aim and he told me he was having trouble in burial mounds with water... we had an idea for a mod on that level and he was going to put water in there but he said it didn't work for him... haven't talked to him a few days, so he may have by now or he might not have... dunno. I'll see.

Ya, Im about to give up on the water and make it my first released mod ever. Maybe Ill put some pics in the pictures section today.

i think that its not a map that can support water since that no one iv seen modding it has added water to it, still it might be possible that you can add water to it.

wrong i know detox had problems but i got it to work fine idk mabey i was just lucky but i followed detox's instructions mabey it has to do with the map you use to do the bsp on i used terminal and it worked so idk (lol i guess lots of up coming mods are on burialmounds interesting

)
try try agian i added water to lockout but it took 3 tries with clean maps to make it work

Kibito, that was
without the tool.... When I first was trying to get it.
Then I did ascension.
Then I did people's requests for maps.
Then I made a tool.
Anyways, Do what my post says... If the map doesnt work, transfer what it said to. T Beezie got it Burial mounds working fine.
Also don't bump

I realize this is an old topic
But, it has already been bumped!
So, for the record,

Absolutly Possible.
Just make sure you follow
EVERY step of the tutorial, and don't forget to transfer everything that you will need to load the map.
For some BSP's(Burial Mounds, Warlock, Turf, Ivory Tower, Zanzibar). You will need to transfer the decals, scenery, obstacles and machs along with their reflexives in the scnr(decal pallete, placement, etc.)
