alright i have done the killtrocity mappack and it works fine. i FTPed it to my xbox and it boots up fine and all the maps work. i want to put it onto a dvd so i can play it off of the disk. i went to create iso in xISO and selected H2 Killtrocity Mappack. then i used alcohol 120% and loaded up the ISO and burned it to my blank DVD. i put it in my xbox and it said it could not recognize the disk. what do i need to do to fix it?

I believe you need a hard modded xbox to read burned DVD's you can run it off your xbox using a Dashboard like EvoX or something like that.
Just rip the dvd and then use a program like UltraISO or something along the lines of it and add those maps and then save it then FTP into xbox and use use your dashboard to load it MSDashboard cant do it, has to be a modded dashboard.

if you are softmodding, (this is what i have) evox dashbord and i can read burn dvds fine, but your softmod needs to be turned on.

Like Innosentz said, softmods will work too.
Both techniques allow the booting of un-signed code.

I know making an ISO can be trickey. The best results I had was using Avalaunch's Qwix.
A very good program, when used right. It even can create ISO's through FTP. I backed up every game I had that way.

So play around with that and come back and tell us what your efforts awarded you with.
Hopefully it won't be 7 hours of bootable-disc-less-ness like mine did. >_<

as long as u have a modded xbox and a modded dash it should work...i figured out that if u burn the dvd at the slowest speed possible it should work. if u burn it at fastest speen possible it may come up w/ errors...i wasted about 30 dvds b4 i figured out y some of them wouldnt work
