ye well whenever i host games on halo pc noone can join and this is really bugging me i was hoping that someone anyone could help me fix it please... i wanna host all the mods i make but no one can join...

if u can fix it u must be a GOD...

Are you sure its just that nobody is joining? Nobody has ever gotten an error like that (I think). I know that if certain people join your server and quit nobody else can join after that.

Is it something to do with your firewall blocking the ports, that are supposed to be allowed to have people join your server?

me and my friends tested it and they couldnt join my game.
it doesnt give an error but my game doesnt even apear on the gamespy thing the big thing full of all the games it doesnt apear there...

maby its your computer, mine is horrible and i have to play by myslef

i used to have that problem but when i got a new processor,motherborad and gfx card it went away...

well ye my processor cant get updated nemore and my comp is a laptop so i highly doubt that it gona get verry good...

but i would like to kow how to fix my firewall so it lets people see my game when they want to join a game. so if ya could tell me how ye that would be really nice thanx.

What brand of firewall do you have?

McAfee firewall virus scan stuff. so ye i guess it must be

Hmmm... Don't know much about McAfee, I have Norton.

I'd try getting help at the McAfee forums, they shoulld be able to help you with allowing ports to be opened for hosting games.

sweet thanx man this should help.. any one else who has info and posts as well could be helpful but thanx to all who have helped here.

i got the same prob to even when they have the same version they can't join.

hmm ye well i think i fixed the "they cant see the game even" thing fixed they now can see the game because i gave the port 2302 access to send and retrieve information.

but now it goes into connecting to server......... retrying server (1) ....... retrying server (2).... etc is what it is doing to them now.

so ye if anyone has this problem of they cant even see the game in the arcade or lobby or watever it called PM me and i will help but i still stuck on the part where they cant join the game.
