Multiple Installs To Different Partitions?

So here is my thought:

I can have partitionA with the OEM HALO install, then, I can have partitionB with the Modded HALO install, thus keeping 2 separate HALO worlds. Shortcuts to the exes can lead to the different partition installs.

Will this work, or will the multiple reg entries screw things up?

It should work. Though you'll only have one set of registry settings for both programs to use.
