skinning

whenever i try to skin, i injec the new file into HMT# succesfully, but then in the game it doesnt work. ive edited the banshee and MC, on time, mc was invisible, and the other, both the banshee and MC were completely black. what do i need to do to make my skins actually work in the game??!?
