HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hey guys. Ive searched and found a easy tut.. but when I loaded my patch and loaded the map 0003 blah. blah. blah... I clicked on the apply button and then it said it is done, burn to a cd now... What now.. cause when I clicked on ok it cleared and now nothing is showing. So I know it did its job but where is the completed product located at.. So I can replace it with the one that I want to modify? Please help me. I did the seaching but now I am lost.. Thanks in advance..

If its for Halo PC, first make a backup of the map. To find the maps, open My Computer and search in: <*drive letter*:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS> (im assuming you let the setup choose the default path while installing) and find the name of the map (for example: b30.map for The Silent Cartographer) then highlight it, right-click and click "Copy". Then simply paste it in a folder where you know you'll find it (e.g. My Documents). Now open PPF-O-Matic and apply the patch to the map in the <*drive letter*:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS> folder, NOT the backup. Then once the patch is applied, load-up Halo and you can play with it.

On the other hand, if its for Xbox, I don't know what to do .

You are the one that chose where to put the file on your disk when you created it and you can't remember? Good job looking alive there man.
