every time i try to setup my xbox live at the very end when im about to finish it always says "cannot continue because of technical difficulties" i dont get why i cant set it up. HELP!

Do you have a wireless router or a wired router?, If your xbox is hooked up wirelessly try "A" if wired try "B".

A:try turning off and on every thing thats hooked up to the router;
or try plain unplugging the router,

B:Try checking your router or ethernet cable, Maybe your ethernet
connection on your xbox or router is loose, it may even be the cable it
self,

Also what kind of connection do you have? Dial-up DSL or Cable?,

maybe i can help you more if I knew what the hole story was,

And maybe other people have better ideas as to whats wrong,

if you get it to working PM me if you want my Xbox live gamertag so
we can play a game or to, Also we could use a few clan members

right now i have dsl and to connect i hook up my ethernet cable to the xbox

you need to do more than that to play xbl, you need to buy a lot of stuff, go to best buy and ask them what you need, or gamestop.

i know i bought the starter kit and at the end it just says "cannot continue because of technical difficulties" its weird

well the starter kit doesnt have everything you need

oh then what else do i need

The starter kit only comes with the 2,3,or12 month subscription card
you also need the XBL headset and connecter, the other thing might be
that it cant verify the data you put in, it can be allot of things, what do you
think,multi-genre,

OMG GUYS!.You only need a serial number which comes with the starter kid.Now tell us when the problem comes.

Good point :-l, Also sense you have DSL the connection might be
so low that it won't let you go on at all, All it will say is:

PS:The only reason i keep adding stuff is I had all these problems

thats the only thing that happens to me right when im about to finish, i have a headset, a subscripstion card and an internet connection i dont know why it wont work
