HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hey, I am softmodding with Agent Under Fire. I downloaded numerous files, only one at a time and try them out.
Information:
I downloaded:
the SID.007.AUF.zip file from Xbox-Hq
Udata.zip
and the FAW file.
SERIAL NUMBER ON DISC: 1448507
Xbox: I bought it new in April of 2005.(dunno what version)
Action Replay: Yes
Action Replay Max: NO
Problem:
1. I load the .Zip file onto the Action Replay.
2. I start the dashboard and load it from the Action Replay to the Harddrive.
3.I put in my game( cd tray still ejected), and turn off my Xbox, and turn it back on.
4. I then go to Load Mission and select: load game from hardrive.

5. PROBLEM IS RIGHT HERE>>My xbox reboots, red lights blinking, with a message on the screen with a black background and green characters, Xbox Service Required

My xbox isnt screwed up though, all I had to do was reboot the xbox, and its fine.

its screwed....
i hope u made a back up of ur dashboard and if u havent u might want to use the uninstall use feature to sort it out i advice u get a chip or somthing cos if u keep messing with it u will screw the thing right up......

Hey, i used 007 to softmod.
Id say you dont need the modchip, just get ltools from #xbins.
Nice installer GUI and it worked in about 1 minute. SUPER easy.

At 4d_49_43_4b- Any tutorial? I've been told just to run the installer from AUF. I don't know how Ilink would help me if I haven't even been able to the Linux Installer.
