HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ok, I got Halo 2 on to my HDD, and it showed up. I loaded it and right after the bungie video it said "Cannot Read Disc-Dirty Disc Error" I have read around and found one site, but forgot the url. I have even used halomods.com search, and found no topics. So I saw this Tech place and decided to ask here. Could anyone explain to me how to pass this error?

I fixed this problem by simply signing mainmenu.map. Now when I get in and try to load a map it wont load, any ideas now?
