would this work in halo ce?

Post by Choking Victim »

i would try this but the hek tutorial is too confusing and my milkshape and 3ds max trials ran out. anyway would you be able to give a box or a car scenery model the physics of the warthog so that its movable? and also for destructable scenery would it be possible to make seperate models for one big thing like a building then give all those individual chunks the ability to be destroyed? kind of like a puzzle where all the pieces fit together then when you shoot at a certain part it disappears.

Yes.
Mmmmmmmyeeep.
But you would probably have to move the individual pieces together, but then you would have a floating tower if the bottom was destroyed....

thats true but what if you gave the building pieces the physics of a ghost or warthog? then they would fall right? and do you know any other programs other than milkshape 3d and 3ds max that are free and that i can use to make maps in ce?or maybe like milkshape version 2.0.0 and lower cause i have a bunch of ideas for maps.

Yes they would fall.
And you can use Gmax with the Chimp exporter to make maps.
