.MAP files opening in 3ds Max 6 *IMPORTANT*

People have said you need to have Sapien Primal Script to make .map files, .max files, in order to view the plain mesh of the level. Please help me by giving me step by step instructions on how to do this, thanks for your time.

its sapien, primal script is another program i think, u can only make map files for CE with HEK which includes sapien,gurrila(i dont know how to spell that)tool, and other stuff. unless u wanna spend a month learning how to use it, dont bother dling it, its an hour wait.

Im sry, but my map files are for h2, all I want to do is view the raw 3d (for super bounce purposes) so please let me know how to do it either with
hek or 3ds max

wow i know hardly anything about h2 moding, youll have to get someone else to help u, wait about a day and someone should come by :wink:

You want to view the mesh in 3ds max? Well uhh...you cant open the .map file in it.

Youd need to extract the BSP, etc...

If your looking for a map viewer, none for Halo 2 have been released yet.
