HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Will it be a good Idea to softmod an X-box before, or after, buying the Halo 2 MP Addon thing (Not an XBox Live user, so gotta buy that)?
I want to know, because I really want to get into modding my Xbox, after long hours of being jealous of all that you guys can do.

well if you softmod... say fairwell to XBL. I would recommend modding AFTER you get Halo 2 MP addon. And wait a while before you do it. Because you could screw something up, and ruin your console, unless you know what you're doing.

Well... dont have to worry about XBL, as i dont ever intend on using it... if i do decide i want it, Ill save up for another XBox. BTW, what are the pricings on a plain Crossover Cable in canada?
