HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Can someone please point me in the direction of a tutorial or an app thats used to edit the map names and images for each map in the Halo multiplayer menu (UI.MAP i think...)

I wanna compile a "best of" version of halo's modded maps but need to know how to edit the menu (like what they did for NMP and HaloMAPS).

any ideas where i should look for the name names in HHT? Sorry, im a total noob when it comes it halo hacking, ive done some halo2 mainmenu.map editing tho so if its anything similar, lemme know.
