anything else besides fraps?

i want to know if there is anything better than fraps that records in-game scenes.
i also want to know what video editor besides Windows Movie Editor is better.
(i dont care if it is not free)

The only alternative to fraps that I know is Camtasia.

Fraps can only record games, but gets extremely good quality. You would not be able to record your desktop with fraps. With Camtasia you can record anything, but the quality is slightly less.

yeah but it costs money.
If you want a free one that doesnt lagg much but no sound google for gamecam.

Fraps can record from nearly any program, like SE.

Well, it can record anything using DirectX or OpenGL technology.

camtasia for recording for ur desktop but for games use gamecam lot less fps used up than fraps:

gamecam, camtasia uses more frames than fraps..n fraps uses a shitload
