Unknown Problem with SP>MP Conversion

Ok, I've been working on my mod for quite some time now, and for some reason when I try to open it in sparkedit, it shows the map I replaced (icefields) instead of the map that should be there (AotCR part C). I followed the tut that came with hmt (right down to the letter, except for adding different things), I managed to give weapons to the pelican (put it in a test mod, and it worked), duplicated the warthog (for human turrets), and decided that this was a good enough time to stop and rebuild for a beta version. I edited the scnr.meta file of the map exactly how you're supposed to for non-A SP>MP conversions, and rebuilt, I fixed the errors that it gave me the first time (just a few incorrect dependencies). I finished rebuilding, then opened it up in sparkedit, and I saw icefields. I honestly do not know what I did wrong, but it has to be something since it didn't work properly. Can anyone lend me a hand with this?

What? I opened icefields.map, and that's what I saw, icefields, but it should have been the part of b40 with the control room (part C). And I don't know what you mean by the file name could have gotten screwed up. What file are you talking about?

I heard you had to hex something for non-"A" BSP conversions.

That's what I did. It was in a post on the user forums, a quote from mono. You have to open the scnr meta of the map, go to the end of the file, find "psbs", count back 16 bytes (each pair of numbers), and then change that to 00 08 00 00. That's exactly what I did, but it still didn't work.

I renamed the rebuilt map and put it in the maps folder, I'm telling you all right now, I went over this many times with a finetooth comb, so to speak. I cannot figure out what the problem is, and as far as I can tell, there shouldn't be one.

before your about to rebuild the map you have to go into levels/test/icefields folder and right click on sncr meta. Then go to the very bottom and put your cursor in front of the p ( its something like psbs somethin like taht) and press the left arrow 16 times. Now once you've done that type 0008 0000 down in the hex box. Then try rebuilding again and there you have it your very own sp mp convesrion
