dual monitors

im not sure where else to put this question at but, im trying to run dual monitors and i have the both connected and working fine but my main and secondary monitor still display the same thing. i have tried changing it in display settings but i cant get it to work like i want. im using an ATI 9550 incase that has anything to do w/ it.

Both your monitors show the same thing? Well, just mess around with the properties and download any drivers if neccessary, I dont see why it wouldnt work, and that really isnt the best card for dual monitors, it will probably lag alot when you are playing games.

The ATI multi-monitor Driver / software used to be called Hydravision.
I had a mutli-monitor video editing system a little while back. Check your ATI install CD for Hydravision, or check the ATI website with your cards model number.

usually its the simplest thing but i am not a radeon guy so idk jest toy around with it and u might find it but u can play games on both monitors unless u have connectios to share one plug so if you were planning on doing that u cant

sorry for the bump
correct me if im wrong but...
i dont know much about the radeon 9550 but in my opinion i think radeon (ati) has been making their graphics cards so that if you want multi monitor capabilities you have to buy their (all in wonder) cards which they speciffically offer two or more moniter(vga1/vga2) plugs in the back of the card
and becuase of that their software comes with HYDRAVISION with the graphics card(i know becuase i have one)
