BIG PROBLEM

Okay, my problem is, when i batch extract, and PMI and all that crap, when I go to rebuild the map, everything starts out fine. However, at some point during the part where it builds the map's index, I get a series of errors, no matter what I do. I ultimately concluded that during the PMI, and the batch extraction, a folder was not extracted. the folder characters/elite/(and its subfolders) was never extracted or created, and as a result the files that depend on the bitmaps within the characters/elite/(subfolders) could not get them and I get the errors that I have been getting.

Does anyone know how I might fix this? I've even tried to extract the elite's folders and subfolders and crap before I batch extract, but to no avail; for the folder just immedietly disappears, and when i go to delete the folders and such after i finish building (because it had failed) it tells me that the characters/ folder is not empty. so the elite's folder is still in there, and can't be accessed by me, or HMT before, during, or after the rebuilding. I even set my folder pref's so that i can see hidden folders, but still see nothing.

Can someone help?

yea, sopunds like you're going to put AI into your map? Am I correct? Becuease this sounds like there might be something wrong with your map file. My first guess is to save your map file now *(just in case)* and reinstalling HALO. thats my first guess.....and did you click extract Meatadata and BSP?

Well, I first off, I wasn't doing anything with AI =), and second, I was on the wrong account, I was on my one that is strictly for schoolwork, which has virtually no rights. So i got on my Admin account, and sure enough, it worked. hehe no biggie (anymore at least)
