NOBODY CAN CONNECT TO ME
NOBODY CAN CONNECT TO ME AND I DUNNO WHY.....IT GIVES THEM A RETRYING IP AND THEN UNABLE TO JOIN....CAN ANYONE HELP????
if your on a router u need to put yourself in dmz mode or open the right ports.
the ports needed are 80 tcp, 2302 udp and 2303 udp. i believe.
in order to do this u need to access your router usually the address u type in the address bar is 192.168.0.1. or at least for me.
if thats not it then u have to disable your firewall. if u did that then maybe u need to disable another firewall that windows xp has its under network connections click on properties.
thats all i can think off.

Yeah, if you have a router, then ithe ip your gonna get is gonna start with 192.168.*.*
The way to get around that problem is going into the settings of your router, which is using IE and in the address bar, you type 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1, whichever the address si for your router.
Then you go into port fowarding and setting up the ports to redirect to your computer and going into application gateways and enabling halo to get out of the router.

That puts you outside of the firewall, it doesnt tell the router to redirect people to the computer and the certain ports that have Halo.if your on a router u need to put yourself in dmz mode or open the right ports.
