**hmt 3.5** im so confused

i need some help with halo map tools. everytime i try to open it i get some sort of just in time (JIT) debugging error. Does anyone know why this happens or what is wrong.
know i posted this in the wrong section but i cant logon to the regular forums for some reason it says the pass is invalid or inactive.

Update your .Net Framework, do a Windows update to find it.

My bad i should have said that, ,but i already have .net frameworks 2.0 and ive tried re-installing it and hmt but it doesnt seem to work

I ve been trying to get it to work for over a week and its really annoying me, hht and dothalo also give me the same error so its something to do with debugging but i dont know what it is.
COmp specs
p3 1ghz
radeon 9000pro
320sd ram
40gbhdd
win xp pro
direct x 9.0c
i put my comp specs if that helps any

Well, I've got .Net Framework 1.1 and it works on my PC.

ii can run it, i can open .map files, i can edit them( i think) but i cant run them no matter how hard i try i get that darn exception thing

i used to have hmt on my laptop but i cant get it to work on my desktop.
you might get an exception error because something you changed doesnt work

it doesnt work with 2.0 you need 1.1. i have a similar problem

I do have 1.1 and 2, having each one serperate doesnt work either, i think its something set on my computer. I get a JIT debugging error.

Ive tried uninstalling them all and reinstalling all of them and it still doesnt work, is there something in the windows settings i may have to change
