i suggest you contact the person u got the router from.. it could be a software or hardware thing.. all routers r diff... although u can usually do it thru cmd
If your significance is that but significant then is there another with significance?

i have a dlink router i use dl-604 or something and i couldnt open my ports. i mean i did open them but it still wouldnt work. but then after like a few days it started working. um i would tell you how but its a long process. just accesss your router. type 192.168.0.1 in the browser and log in as admin. no pass. then go to virtual server and there should be some default ones there that use the same ports. and open those. when i say open i mean enable. or just find something called dmz and put your external ip address there and hit enable. that should work. it might not take effect right away though. didnt work right away for me.

hope this helps.
If i could i would, but i can't so i won't.
