Is that a good Video Card for Halo?

Thats more than good. Good enough to run Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 without a problem. Now all you have to worry about is a processor and RAM to go with that card, o_0.

well... i just got that for 90$ and i have a 2.8GHz intel pentium 4 with hyper threading
and 512Mb ddr ram
and off topic... hows the island going?

Dude.. how the.. mine is 256mb PCI, and your is cheaper, and it's AGP! Man I got screwed over... damn circuit city!

rofl... my mom got a sams club card through her work and this card was 89.99$ there
and i know nearly nothing about graphics cards lol i do know that the one i have currently is crap...
i cant install the GeForce FX tull christamas
but if its as good as you all say i will be very happy that day

well you need a subscription card and you need to have the card as proof when you buy anything...
so.. why dont you just go stand outside a sams and offer the next guy who walks by 10$ to let you follow him ascting like you are with him and have him buy it...

It will work but its not good.

No Doom3 will play crappy on it as well HL2 a bit.
The FX5200 is crap.

The 256MB DDR ram is worthless in that card.
It can make use of the extra 128MBs of ram.

dude 5200fx is old...they got 5500, 5700 , 5900, 5950, and 6800xt and more...that card will play pretty good with halo, i dont know about doom 3 or hl2....5950 is ur best deal as far as nvidia goes

its a good card for a great price and if it doesnt play doom 3 and HL2... oh well... though it will... if you look on the site they show screenies of some games with that card in its section and it looked great

the 5950 is not the best deal.

hey, just be lucky you have a card. 256mb is insane! all i gots is 128. you got some deal there dood. and 256 bit, i think thats also good.
