Load/Instal new map in Halo PC

I know this is a noob sort of question but i have searched the forum and found nothing that helped me, so i have to ask. I d-loaded "Snake's Living Room for HaloCE", extracted the .map file w/ winRAR, and then tried to get the map to load into Halo. Some of the topics i found while searching said to just put the map file into the maps folder, this didn't do anything (its supposed to show the map where all the other online maps are right?) then i tried to rename the map to another already in use map file (ratrace) and this just gave me an error. so how do you get map files to load into Halo? thanks

Well, you don't load them into Halo, you load them into CE (custom edition) I just use winrar and extract it to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo CE\maps

ok, i got this, did a google search and then a d-load then got the map working, thanks.

hey but i put it in the haloe CE maps folder and it didnt work........ i dont get whats wrong

u d/l map>u un-winrar it>copy and paste into haloce map folder.
its not hard.

winrar is ike winzip right?
