Entity not working in Windows 7 x64

Post by DrXThirst »

Yeah, I need some help on this.

Entity's BSP Viewer (Except for Alpha 1) doesn't work with Vista or 7 x64. Is there a way to fix this?

I've tried run as admin, disable desktop composition, run in compatibility mode, and disable visual themes. I don't know what else to try...

No version of Entity has a compatible BSP Viewer on a 64bit OS, except Alpha 1. There's really no way around that, unless you want to dual-boot a 32bit OS.

That sucks. Can I have 2 versions of Windows 7 on 1 computer? Windows 7 64bit, and 32bit?

Should be able to, I see no reason why not. Just make another partition and install.

Alright, well I also have another question... once I've partitioned part of my HDD, is there a way to unpartition it so that it goes back with my main HDD?

Yes. I did that the other day. You would open Disk Manager, click the drive you want to add the space back to, and click "Extend Volume". Make sure there are no files on the other partition.

Dismanager can be annoying though. Know that you cannot extend a partition to the left, you cannot move partitions, and you cannot add free space to Partition A if Partition B sits between them.
