Hey guys, I need a little help playing bf2142 from two computers, me and my brother want to play it together online and we have the two machines and only one copy of bf. We tried logging into the same account, of course this didn't work.
So we tried using a keygen on the second install but when we try to create a new account it told us we had a invalid key. (We only used the keygen because we want to play from two computers, remember, we already own the game.)
We tried registraining for two accounts from the same key, but we can assign only one email per key.
Any ideas on how to make this work? Or is the only way to work it to go out and buy a second copy? (Which we'd rather not do.)

Set up a proxy server for you or your brother. That way you could set the computer to connect to that before connecting to EA's site. I am not sure if this would work, but give it a try, because then the game server might see it as two separate IPs. Also, I am pretty sure that if you have two serial codes, then the server would be fine with the two of you playing, it may be the fact that you had keygen'd it in the past they may have put a restriction on your IP to only play one copy at a time.

Part of what you buy when you purchase the game is a license to run it. Just because you have the software doesn't mean you can install it on any PC you want.SuperCommando wrote:So we tried using a keygen on the second install but when we try to create a new account it told us we had a invalid key. Buy another copy; don't try to h4x it. (Which is illegal.)SuperCommando wrote:Any ideas on how to make this work? Or is the only way to work it to go out and buy a second copy? (Which we'd rather not do.)
