how much money in the next 1 1/2 years?

How much money will parts overall go down in the next 1 and a half years? 25 percent? I need to know cause I'm helping my friend build his compy in 1 and a half years, and I like to plan ahead

From my experience with mainly graphics cards, because they seem to be the most expensive single part of my system usually, can go down somewhere around $100 dollars in a year in half especially with new technology. If you're in response to the economy, then idk

EDIT: also intel/nvidia waged tech warz so it is quite possible the price will drop even more on the graphics cards to keep up with the cheap and reliable integrated intel cards

in 1 year todays cards will be 200-300 bux compared to 600 now. otherwise i wouldnt go outdated on anything else.

AMD FTW!!! a quadcore phenom set with a basic gfx card can be had for around 800-1100
