Recomend me a good HDTV?
Firstly, I'm very uneducated on televisions. I really don't know much about the technical side of them. However, an old one that I've had for a while (black, bulky, no very good) recently stopped working, and my dad said we might just get a new one all together. I can probably fit one about 44 inches wide and 27 inches height in the space we have available. Oh, and nothing to expensive.

Well, I'm no pro on HDTVs either, but first off, decide on a firm price range. Then, look for the best resolution you can get (1080p > 1080i, they should all have 1080), and the best brightness, contrast ratio, and connectivity. If you have a home theater system that takes all of your inputs (VCR, DVD, game systems) and puts them out into one, it shouldn't be an issue for you. However, if you don't, make sure you can connect everything to it without having to mess around later. It's always good to have things connected first, with no worrying later.
I'd rank things in priority of:
