Videocard experts needed!

Post by Corvette19 »

Well, I have tried AGP and PCIE video cards and both of them do not match the slots I have, I need to know what kind I have so I can buy one.

Looks like standard PCI, not PCI-E.

if those are the only slots in your pc, then yes, they do look like PCI.

which is bad news, depending on what type of games you're hoping on playing. last i checked, PCI cards are held back by the PCI interface, and have dismal performance, hence the creation of AGP.

Yeah, PCI cards are somewhat low-end compared to more current cards. :|

God, how old is your computer? Like 2 centuries old? But yeah, it is pci, really low-end, even for halo!

Yes it actually does. I have a 256 MB ATI somewhat PCI lying around here...if I remember correctly it could run Halo on max.

But really...I don't know if those things still exists/ how cheap they have become...try to avoid PCI cards at all costs if you have the option of upgrading.

Also, don't ever in my lifetime buy a Dell again.

Lol at the dell thing.

Anyways would you be willing to sell that PCI card for less than 50$?

I live in Germany, pretty sure the shipping alone would cost more ;)

Try newegg.com.
