Two questions.

Post by Senor_Grunt »

Capture Card:

I've been looking around at USB capture cards, I don't need them to be HQ, or HD, I just need one. I found these two on eBay:

First one.

Second one.

Any suggestions? Don't suggest a capture card that must be installed, because I don't feel like taking the time to install the hardware. I only want to use USB cards. Thanks ahead of time!

Uploading Problem:

Ok, so for some reason, when ever I try to upload ANYTHING to ANYWHERE with Firefox, I get an error saying this:

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I've checked the connection, its fine. I've plugged two other laptops into the router, and with the same Ethernet cable, and they both didn't get the error, its this one laptop that does it. Help?

Those two should get the job done. You wont get great quality; However, thats how it is with most USB capture devices.

I would also advise getting an A/V splitter with that, if you plan on capturing and filming at the same time.

I would take a look at your firewall. Do you use any security applications such as Norton or McAfee?
