Can i De-frag my 360 HDD?

Can i De-frag my 360 HDD?

Ok, there is obviously something wrong with my HDD because, I've taken up about 2gb of space, and it says that i have less than 1gb left...

I'm assuming this is from deleting alot of files from my HDD using my Xport. Is it possible to de-frag it, so i can get my space back? Or do i have to format it. If I do, can i copy my files without copying the unwanted fragments?
