cant host games..

So heres my problem, i make a game so me a my friends can play together,
i host it, and i get a phone call saying ''Dude i cant join your game'', i was like why? ''he was like i donno''

So all my friends try and try and they cant join my game

Help?

If you're talking about Xbox Live, it could be a problem with the service. Live has been having issues for over a week. It's being worked on and will fixed as soon as possible.

If your using a router try port forwarding and DMZ. I still can't host games but I heard it works.

take off all firewalls and anti virus stuff then host it.

when i go to control panal and click fire walls it says

Due to an unidentified problem, windows cannot display firewall settings...

anyways.. anti virus as well my step dad takes care of so i never disable it..

just disable it, viruses wont enter your computer unless you're downloading wierd stuff. If you dont i highly doubt you'll ever host a game
