xbox live question

If you used a credit card will it automatically renew the subscription? I remember a few years ago i got charged like $100 because it automatically renewed a bunch of accounts and my mom was pissed. I bought a 3 month subscription for my silver acount and i really dont want it to auto renew like last time

Untill you remove the card I beleve it will.

Like supermodder said, just remove the card from the account and it won't renew. Before you use the gold card, I suggest just removing the credit card from the account, there aren't really any ramifications for it, unless you want to buy the Halo 3 DLC maps or something.

man thats so annoying. I always call in early to make sure they cancel it, then it still doesnt cancel so i have to call microsoft xbl again then the bank to remove the unnecessary charges.

Edit: ok ill try removing the card before it ends.
