Capture card

Post by jim20af »

So i'm getting a 360 here soon, and i have a 22" monitor w/ vga and dvi hookups. my laptop's hooked up to it through dvi. i can't get live, so i want to get a capture card to record video and stuff, plus i already have an xbox so i could use it for that. i was just looking for some help in picking a capture card that wouldn't cause lag, but would also still support hd for the 360. most capture cards i was looking at only had the normal red white and yellow hookups, no hd. thanks

I'm selling my Dazzle DVC 90.
Quality test in my sig.

EDIT : I just saw that you wanted hd. Mine has Svideo but that's as good as it gets. Sorry.

-------
Tural, do you have a quality test for that capture card?

No, but I have a few quotes in regards to Halo 3 video recording:

Video capture at 1920x1080? Wouldn't that require some sort of rediculously expensive frame grabber device? o_O

That's a nice price for such quality..
$250 isn't unreasonable for a top-of-the-line HDMI capture device.

It also comes with a built in splitter so that the only 2 cords you need are the HDMI from the xbox and an HDMI going out to your TV.
